Warranty Information

A. Philips Hue / Philips Table Lamp
Authorized Hong Kong official Philips products come with a 2 years manufacturer's warranty with proof of purchase (exclude any damage or loss caused by man-made or misuse), starting from the date of purchase.

The warranty service that Philips provides for our products include free repair and parts for the period specified by the individual product and subject to the terms and conditions therein and in this agreement. 
 
Within warranty period about Philips Lighting products, you can contact us directly at 2353 0777.  But please note that:
  1. The product must be genuine authorised product
  2. Must present a valid and relevant sales receipt
  3. Warranty period starts from the date of purchase.  Please keep the sales receipt in a safe place or take a photo as copy
  4. Depends on different circumstances, we may replace just the parts or the product itself, but will not be responsible for the dismantling and installation costs involve
  5. This Agreement does not cover (i) any loss, or theft of the Product or any part thereof. (ii) any defect or damage caused by the misuse of the Product, negligence or wrongful act of the Purchaser or any third party; or (iii) any loss or damage to the Product due to any force majeure event including but not limited to lightning, flooding, earthquake or thunder
  6. If the defect is found to be caused by negligence of physical force, the warranty will become invalid

C. Philips Dryer Rack
Authorized Hong Kong official Philips products come with a 1 years manufacturer's warranty with proof of purchase (exclude any damage or loss caused by man-made or misuse), starting from the date of purchase.

Warranty Notification :
1. 1 year manufacturer's warranty only covers the product's quality with the warranty period (not including the remote control), all damages caused by misuse, careless use of the product and/or circuit failure is not covered. We reserve the rights on final decision on warranty issues.
2. There will be a fee of $500 after warranty period (include door-to-door inspection and repair), outlying islands and rural areas not along the railway will need an extra $300. If parts are required after inspection, price will be quoted.
3. All products are not eligible for exchange, return or refund, unless the product is damaged during transportation or the product has any discrepancy with your order. We suggest you have full understanding of the products before purchase. Please inspect the product immediately upon receipt, if any damages is found, please contact our customer service hotline 3529 2919 within three business days to enquire about procedure for product exchange.

E. Philips Smart Safe Box
Warranty is provided by J Lock Company Ltd., the general agent of Philips EasyKey in Hong Kong and Macau.  

Terms & Conditions of the Warranty:
1. Subject to clauses 2 and 3, J Lock Company Limited (“Company”) warrants the Safe to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship (“Warranty”). The Company provides this Warranty for one year starting from the date of purchase as shown on the purchase invoice.
2. This Warranty is valid in Hong Kong only. There are no warranties, express or implied, which extend beyond the description on the face hereof. There is no express or implied warranty of merchantability or warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
3. Please keep the purchase invoice and warranty card carefully. Both the original purchase invoice and the original warranty card must be presented when requesting for warranty services. This Warranty will be voided automatically for any amendment(s), alteration(s) or erasure of the purchase invoice and/ or warranty card.
4. Additional transportation charge(s) will be incurred if the Company’s approved technicians are to provide warranty services at a remote location which is difficult to be reached by public transport.
5. This Warranty DOES NOT cover:
   5.1 Replacement of any external parts of the Safe including but not limited to the outer case, keypad, button of the Safe; any accessories and parts that are not included in the Safe’s body; and the mobile apps.
   5.2 Reinstallation of the Safe at a new location.
   5.3 The Safe, or any part thereof, which has been installed or repaired by third parties but not the Company’s approved technicians, improperly used, negligently used, used not in accordance with the instructions in the User Manual, abused, altered, damaged, subjected to force majeure events including but not limited to accident, electrolyte leakage from battery, flood, fire, natural calamities or acts of Gods including but not limited to natural calamities, or on which any serial number has been altered, defaced or removed.
   5.4 Invalid request for warranty service, e.g., the Safe is functioning normally, or general daily use and operation of the Safe including change of batteries and user settings.
   5.5 The Safe which has been installed in an outdoor or semi-outdoor area.
   5.6 Unauthorized tearing or altering product labels, serial numbers, and anti-counterfeiting marks.
6. All warranty service within the warranty period shall be rendered by the Company’s approved technician(s) only. In case of product discontinuation or unavailability of component(s) during the warranty period, the Company will provide compatible component(s) for maintenance.
7. If booking for warranty services is cancelled or re-scheduled without at least one (1) working day’s notice, or if our technician cannot contact the customer prior to the booking time, administration charge will be incurred.
8. The Company shall not be liable to any customer by way of indemnity or by reason of any breach of this Warranty or of statutory duty of by reason of tort (including but not limited to negligence) or otherwise for: (i) any indirect or consequential damage; (ii) loss of profit; (iii) loss of use; (iv) loss of production; and (v) loss of contracts or any financial or economic loss. For the avoidance of doubt, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable to any customer for any loss, cost and damage arising from the provision of warranty services by the Company’s approved technicians.
9. (Only for models with mechanical key) Whenever a mechanical key is not available from the client, a service charge will be incurred for urgent lock breaking.
10. Alkaline batteries of the same batch must be used for the Safe, otherwise the warranty will be voided. The Company bears no responsibility for any loss, cost or damage caused by not using the same batch alkaline batteries for the Safe.
11. The Terms and Conditions of the Warranty are subject to change without notice.
12. The Company reserves all rights to make the final decision.
13. The Chinese translation is for reference only. In case of any discrepancy between the English version and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.
